EYFS Framework
Dreams Nursery and Daycare
Babies child’s first two years are critical for the development of the brain and for language development.
From birth, babies are active learners, investigating the sights, sounds, and feel of the world. They explore the world with their senses when developing.
At Dreams Nursery we provide babies with what they need: a safe world, with opportunities to actively explore and develop the three prime areas
Communication and language, Physical Development, Personal, social and emotional development.
Toddlers
Dreams Nursey and Daycare
A child’s development at this time is huge. Two year-olds are moving from the total dependence of babyhood to the more independent, mobile world of preschoolers. At this age, children are exploring their communication skills, independence and individuality, and learning how to control their important bodily functions.
At Dreams Nursery we provide the manageable challenges and relaxed environment that two to three year olds need. We still work on the three primary areas that are developing into new skills.
Preschool
Dreams Nursery and Daycare
As children move into the independence of the preschool years the program for learning changes into a more meaningful and purposeful learning. At this time children should have the confidence and the skills think and act for themselves. Before they go to reception we make sure children have a knowledge of the below areas:
Communication and language, Physical Development, Personal, social and emotional development, Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, Expressive arts and Design
